"From here on in we will be delivering regular Holiday Courses throughout the 2013/14 season in which we hope to see as many participants from the local area as possible.'

The Leisurezone played host to a summer player development course too and children's activity co-ordinator Kerry McCarthy insists the Trust's delivery has been very well received.

She explained: "We have been really impressed with all the West Ham coaches. The kids look shattered and very happy when they leave every day.

"I made a point of asking the children what they thought of the course and they have all been very keen to tell us how great it has been!"
