Introduction

· West Ham United take on Spanish Primera Division side RCD Espanyol on Thursday to fill the gap caused by this week's international break

· You can watch this game LIVE on West Ham TV. Subscription costs just £4.99 a month. Sign up by clicking here.

· The Hammers' first team face a blank weekend with the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in full-swing, so manager Sam Allardyce has brought those players not involved in international football out to Spain to take on Espanyol.

· Javier Aguirre's side have enjoyed an unbeaten start to their season, taking five points from their opening three fixtures and are looking to improve on last season's 13th place finish.

· The Periquitos are based in Barcelona and play at the 40,500-capacity Estadi Cornella-El Prat.

· West Ham will want to get Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Stoke City out of their systems, with this match providing an ideal opportunity to bounce back quickly ahead of the next Barclays Premier League clash at Southampton..
