Hammers arrive in Barcelona

West Ham United have arrived in Barcelona ahead of Thursday evening's friendly match against RCD Espanyol.

The Hammers are facing the Spanish Primera Division side in the international break with no Barclays Premier League match this weekend.

The squad flew out from London Gatwick this morning, landing in the Catalan capital in early-afternoon ahead of a training session.

Mohamed Diame, Winston Reid, Jack Collison and Razvan Rat are away with their countries on international duty at present, but Sam Allardyce will still have a strong squad to pick from for the game at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat.

Espanyol have made an unbeaten start to the Spanish season, and are currently sixth in the league having taken five points from their opening three games.

The game kicks-off at 9pm local time on Thursday (8pm BST) and will be broadcast live on West Ham TV.

Every player in claret and blue will be seeking to impress Big Sam, so the stage is set for a competitive 90 minutes, so tune in or sign up now!

West Ham TV will also bring you regular updates from Spain, including exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage as the Hammers prepare to face Javier Aguirre's side.

Meanwhile, viewers can also enjoy a host of exclusive features, including highlights of Monday's 5-4 Barclays U21 Premier League victory at Newcastle, captain Kevin Nolan's Big Interview and much, much more.

West Ham TV costs from just £4.49 a month, so for further information, click here.
