West Ham United will discover their Capital One Cup third round opponents in Wednesday night's draw.

The third round sees the clubs competing in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League enter the fray with 32 sides still harbouring hopes of a run to Wembley.

The Hammers booked their place at this stage by defeating Cheltenham Town 2-1 on Tuesday thanks to goals from Ricardo Vaz Te and Ravel Morrison.

Crystal Palace were the only Barclays Premier League casualties of the night, going down 2-1 at Bristol City, although Liverpool, Fulham and Hull City all needed extra time to advance against lower league opposition.

The draw will take place live on Sky Sports 4 following the conclusion of Wednesday night's Morecambe-Newcastle United tie, and the Hammers' ball number is 24.
