Home kit makes home debut

West Ham United's players sported the new adidas home strip at the Boleyn Ground for the first time since it went on sale during Saturday's 2-1 win over Pacos de Ferreira.

It was the first time the team has worn an adidas kit at the Boleyn Ground since 1987, and the strip is now available for purchase via the clubs official online store or by visiting one of the Official Club Stores - Stadium, Liberty Romford and Lakeside Thurrock - (please click here for opening hours).

Season ticket holders can claim a brilliant ten per cent discount when purchasing the strip, which features the Hammers' traditional claret and blue colours, with white shorts and socks.

The new design has already gone down a storm with supporters, particularly Carl Davis, a season ticket holder in the Alpari Stand Lower who can't wait to pull on the new kit and support the Hammers.

"It's smart, and has a nice look to it all" he told whufc.com.

"As a supporter I'm looking forward to wearing it myself and seeing the team playing in the kit for the new season."

The home shirt also comes equipped with adidas performance fabrics ClimaCool and ClimaLite technology, a mixture of heat and moisture controlling materials, ventilation channels and 3D fabrics which improve air flow to the skin and in key heat zones.

The home, away and goalkeeper kits are now available to purchase, along with the adidas training range, with replica shirts available from £49.99 in adult sizes and £39.99 for juniors, you can order online now at www.officialwesthamstore.com
