If you are keen to play your part in shaping the future of West Ham United during one of the most exciting times in its history, then we invite you to join West Ham United Supporter Advisory Board (SAB).

With the move to the Olympic Stadium now confirmed for 2016, the role of the SAB is more important than ever as the Club seeks to consult supporters on some of the most important aspects of the switch.

With 85% of fans polled in an independent SMG YouGov poll declaring their support of the move to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the Club are now keen to advance the transition process with the advice and guidance of supporters.

Fan consultation topics are to include the following:
• A fair and transparent Stadium migration policy
• Working together to reach out to the wider supporter base and fill the Stadium
• Planning a fitting farewell to the Boleyn Ground
• Making the new Stadium look and feel like West Ham's home
• Helping the Club to determine facilities and products at the new Stadium

In line with the Club's policy of listening to those who matter most, the SAB was originally established for the 2011/12 campaign, to give fans the opportunity to have their say.

To date, the SAB continues to go from strength to strength and has enjoyed considerable successes along the way. The passion of SAB members paved the way for the lucrative adidas deal, while they were instrumental in helping the Club understand key issues in negotiating with the LLDC. Current topics include advising on a new website for the Club.

SAB

The Club welcome those who have plenty to say, providing it is constructive, aimed at improving the lot of all Hammers fans and fixed firmly on the topics proposed during each meeting. In return, SAB members will have the opportunity to meet the people that make the big decisions at the club, including Board members and first-team management and players.

Applicants from all walks of life, whatever their gender or age, are encouraged, including international members. The only two criteria are that you must support the Club and have a relationship with us, whether that be as a Season Ticket holder or an Academy member.

Those interested in joining the SAB must potentially be available to attend quarterly meetings and be regularly contactable via email/phone. The selection process will take into account each individual's application and the overall balance of the Board. To get involved, fans must be nominated by five others who are not related and also have a Season Ticket or Academy membership.

Any successful applicants prior to 6 August will be eligible to attend the Annual Supporter Advisory Board meeting taking place on Tuesday 6 August at 6pm in the 66 Club Suite.
