Carroll models new home kit

Andy Carroll has modelled the new adidas home kit for 2013/14 ahead of Thursday's pre-order launch.

The 24-year-old England striker joined the Hammers for an undisclosed, Club record fee on Wednesday, putting pen-to-paper on a six-year deal with an option for a further two.

He took the opportunity to try on the new claret and blue home kit, which is available to pre-order from Thursday 20 June, and immediately gave it the thumbs up.

He said: "It's a nice kit, it fits well and looks smart so I'm looking forward to playing in it.

"I'll be over the moon to pull on the claret and blue for the first game of the season. It's a great chance for me to show what I'm about - I can't wait to get going."

Further reaction to Carroll's transfer from manager Sam Allardyce and other squad members will soon appear on whufc.com

Check the official website on Thursday morning for full kit pre-order details.
