West Ham United's flying winger Matt Jarvis is today celebrating his 27th birthday.

The Middlesbrough-born attacker became West Ham's record signing when he joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2012.

He spent five years at Molineux, establishing himself as a Premier League player after starting off his pro career with Gillingham.

Jarvis' form for Wolves earned him a call-up to the England squad in 2011, and he made his international debut in the 1-1 friendly draw with Ghana on 29 March 2011.

He made 34 appearances during his first season in claret and blue, scoring twice.
