Asian Community Cup reaches final

Punjab United Wolves and Bury Park Saracens won the right to battle it out for the 2013 SBOBET UK Asian Community Cup at the Boleyn Ground after making their way through last weekend's preliminary stages.

Sixteen teams were involved across two days of competition at the Hammers' Rush Green complex, and with Punjab United Wolves and Bury Park Saracens making it to the showpiece final, the competition will have a new winner on the trophy.

The final will take place at the Boleyn Ground on Wednesday 12 June with a 7.30pm kick-off, with SBOBET backing the competition through their sponsorship.

As well as SBOBET, the Hammers are working with London Tigers and The Canary Wharf Group for this year's UK Asian Community Cup, one of the most prestigious Asian football tournaments in the UK.

The tournament aims to provide Asian players a chance to play in professional stadiums and be spotted by scouts who attend the preliminary rounds.

Bury Park earned their place in the final with a hard fought 2-1 win over Newark Youth London, while Punjab United Wolves prevailed by the same scoreline against Sporting Khalsa.
