Voting for SBOBET player poll open

The voting for March's SBOBET Player of the Month award is now open. Jussi Jaaskelainen collected February's prize prior to Saturday's 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion and the Finnish stopper is in the reckoning once more.

Jaaskelainen is joined in the nominations by Andy Carroll, who has led the line in each of the Hammers' three fixtures this month. Midfielders Gary O'Neil and Matt Jarvis are also included, while centre-half duo Winston Reid and James Collins complete the line-up.

The month begun in supreme fashion, with Jack Collison's smart finish on the stroke of half-time earning the Hammers a precious away win at Stoke City.

Sam Allardyce's men took to the road once more a fortnight later, making the short trip to Stamford Bridge. Goals in either half from Academy graduate Frank Lampard and then Eden Hazard put paid to West Ham's hopes of a positive result, as a dominant Chelsea ran out comfortable 2-0 winners.

With internationals accounting for the following weekend, West Ham would wait another two weeks until their only home fixture of March. Andy Carroll's brilliant double, either side of O'Neil's classy finish, saw the Hammers three goals to the good, before a late Graham Dorrans penalty denied the home side a clean sheet.
