Final score - West Ham United XI 3-1 Queens Park Rangers XI

90 mins -
There's just about the time for the corner, before Mr Crouch blows for full-time. Three quite brilliant goals, all courtesy of 18-year-old Blair Turgott, win it for the Hammers, and all in all a very productive exercise for the senior players on show. We'll have post-match reaction on whufc.com as and when we get it.

89 mins - QPR win a free-kick in a very similar spot to the Hoops' goal. Unsurprisingly, it's Taarabt standing over the set-piece, but rather than going for goal, he slides a ball into the feet of Hoilett, whose cross is well dealt with.

86 mins - Ben Marlow skips past a defender or two and with no other challenge forthcoming, has a dig from 25 yards. It's always rising and comfortably clears the crossbar.

83 mins - As the clock ticks down here, QPR are shading possession but Ruddock and Tomkins are in control, as they have been for much of the afternoon. Bothroyd tries to play a one-two, but Ruddock intervenes for the umpteenth time and comes away with it. The 19-year-old has put in a hugely mature display alongside the ever-reliable Tomkins.

80 mins - West Ham still holding firm here, as they look to see out the remaining ten minutes without alarm. At that very moment, Bothroyd has a swipe at one from no more than eight yards, but Driver dives in the way to make the block.

77 mins - A triple swap here as Spence, Moncur and Bywater, make way for Shaw, Driver and Tombides. Seconds earlier, McCartney was again at full-throttle down the left, as he raced to the by-line, before seeing his cross deflected behind. Much to his disgust, the linesman awards a goal-kick. The Northern Irish full-back looks to be in fine fettle after his injury lay-off.

75 mins - The visitors are coming on strongly now and Bothroyd is the latest in a long line to have a crack from range. No danger there, as it fizzes well wide.

72 mins - Trouble here for the hosts as Taarabt runs at the West Ham backline. He declines the opportunity to shoot and instead opts to play in Bothroyd. His first effort is blocked, before the ball lands back at his feet and he dinks it to the far post. Hoilett has a chance but the Hammers stopper gets his body in the way and it's scrambled behind.

68 mins - Taarabt looks to double his tally for the afternoon as he has a go from all of 30 yards. The Hammers keeper flings himself across goal but it's comfortably wide in the end.

65 mins - A first switch for the Hammers, as Matt Taylor makes way for first-year scholar Ben Marlow. A well-earned rest for Taylor, who played 45 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and put in another considerable shift this afternoon.

63 mins - Blair very nearly has a fourth! QPR win a corner but it's headed away and the break is on. Paulista is bearing down on goal, with Moncur and Turgott in support. He perhaps waits an instant too long to flip it into Turgott's path, who, on the stretch can only volley over at the back post.

59 mins - For a second it looks as if Bothroyd has got the better of Pelly Ruddock, but the centre-half is not to be beaten and recovers to come away with it. It prompts another counter, as Wellington, on the right flank, tries to pick out Chamakh. It's a fine ball in, but just a yard in front of the Moroccan frontman.

57 mins - Moncur is the latest to try his luck, as he bursts into the area, only to see his drive deflected behind for a corner. This is some response from the Hammers, having conceded so early in the piece in this second half.

54 mins - Turgott has the ball at his feet once more, as he darts towards the box. Unselfishly, he tries to feed Chamakh, but a QPR boot puts paid to the through ball.

52 mins -
GOAL! WOW! That's some way to complete a hat-trick at the Boleyn Ground. Turgott cuts inside onto his right foot, before unleashing another unstoppable curler, that cannons off the inside of the far post on its way past Murphy. If he ever scores a better hat-trick, I look forward to seeing it.

49 mins - West Ham's strike duo combine to fashion a chance, as Chamakh wins it on the edge of the box, before laying it into the path of Paulista. The Brazilian, unchallenged, smashes it goalward, but it's wide of Murphy's right-hand upright.

47 mins - GOAL! The visitors are back in it, as Taarabt curls a great free-kick, a couple of yards left of centre, beyond West Ham's stopper and into the far corner. It's a stunning strike.

46 mins - We're back underway here and I'm reliably informed Harry Redknapp and Barry Fry are in attendance this afternoon.

45 mins - End to end stuff here, thoroughly entertaining. Turgott slides in Bywater, who is about to pull the trigger, only for Nedum Onuoha to deny the 17-yaer-old with a brilliant sliding tackle. With that, the half-time whistle sounds, bringing to a close a hugely impressive first 45.

41 mins - Jay Bothroyd is twisting and turning in the box, with McCartney the man hoping to see out the danger. The Northern Ireland ends up on the floor, though he still manages to get in the block, albeit with his backside!

39 mins - Taarabt is on the ball in the West Ham half but has several claret and blue shirts for company. Tomkins is the man to stick in a toe and the Hammers have it back. Meanwhile, the Hoops surrender possession in a dangerous area, enabling Paulista to let fly from 25 yards. Murphy gets down smartly to prevent a third.

36 mins - Murphy is a busy man here this afternoon, as Moncur plays a square pass to Spence, who fancies his chances from 20 yards. It's firmly driven but straight down the throat of the QPR 'keeper.

33 mins - Some more neat football allows Bywater to nip in ahead of stopper Murphy, though the angle is such that he has to roll it back into the path of Turgott. Blair swings it in and though Chamakh attempts to bring it under his spell, QPR are able to clear.

30 mins - Here come the Hammers again, as McCartney comes raiding down the left. He cuts inside before having a dig with his right foot, which Murphy gathers comfortably enough.

28 mins - GOAL! It's that man Turgott, again, who doubles the hosts' lead. It's another tasty finish as well, as he collects the ball on the edge of the box, before measuring a delicate curler that nestles inside the far corner of Murphy's net.

26 mins -
The visitors win it deep in West Ham territory and Taarabt is sizing up a strike on goal. He goes for the curler, but it swings a foot wide of the far post. Seconds later, Granero picks out the run of Hoilett, who runs into trouble, as a combination of both Spence and Bywater dispossess the winger.

24 mins -
Wellington Paulista wants a free-kick for hand ball on the edge of the box, but referee Ian Crouch waves play on and QPR very nearly take full advantage. Mackie is through on goal, only for Spence to show his pace and intervene with a perfectly-timed challenge.

21 mins - Jamie Mackie is clipped on the edge of the Hammers box and Taarabt's free-kick is a fine one. It's swung towards the far post, where Jordan Spence is on hand to put it behind.

19 mins - There's a brief stoppage as Hoilett receives some attention, before the Hoops are back on the offensive. A long ball looks for Bothroyd but Tomkins is straight on the scene and snuffs out the danger.

16 mins - Chamakh wins back possession from the resulting corner, prompting a delightful passage of West Ham passing. At the end of it all, Turgott slides it into the path of McCartney, who puts plenty behind his left-footed drive. Murphy is down quickly to his left and does well to gather at the first time of asking.

14 mins - Taarabt has it on the edge of the box, and with McCartney in close attendance, he opts to strike for the near post. It takes a slight nick of a West Ham boot, as it finds the side netting.

12 mins - GOAL! What a strike that is. Kieran Bywater is set free down the right up, before his cut-back falls to the feet of Turgott on the edge of the box. He takes a touch, or two, before slamming a drive into the top left-hand corner of Murphy's net. The 'keeper just stood and watched as it flew past him.

10 mins - For the record, West Ham have lined up in a 4-4-2 here, with Wellington and Chamakh the men up top. Turgott and Bywater are on either flank, while Matt Taylor and Moncur are in the heart of the Hammers midfield.

8 mins - Jay Bothroyd sets off in chase of a dinked ball over the top down the inside right channel. He attempts to flick it into the mixer but skews it behind for a goal-kick.

6 mins - At the other end Hoilett is again in the thick of it, as he races clear down the left, but his cross is overhit and sails behind.

5 mins - A corner from the far side sees a James Tomkins knock-down fall into the path of the waiting Kieran Bywater on the edge of the box. The Hammers' No10 lets fly and forces a smart stop from Brian Murphy, who palms it away.

3 mins - George McCartney brings it over the halfway line, before sending in a good-looking centre. Wellington Paulista has taken up a decent position but his header flies straight up in the air.

1 min - It's Queens Park Rangers who get us underway and there's an early chance for Junior Hoilett, as George Moncur inadvertently stabs it into his path. Hoilett strikes it cleanly enough but it's straight at West Ham's stopper.

Good afternoon and welcome to the Boleyn Ground for today's friendly fixture between West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers.

With both clubs not having another Barclays Premier League fixture until the weekend of 30 March, Sam Allardyce and Harry Redknapp agreed to holding this game to give their respective fringe players welcome match-time.

For West Ham, that means opportunities for James Tomkins, Jordan Spence and Marouane Chamakh, while George McCartney continues his comeback from three months out with a knee injury. Brazilian forward Wellington Paulista gets another chance to impress after scoring regularly for Nick Haycock's Development Squad.

There will also be welcome opportunities for promising youngsters George Moncur and Blair Turgott, while Australian forward Dylan Tombides is on the bench.

First-team coach Ian Hendon will take charge for the Hammers this afternoon, coaching players he has had in his own Development Squad before Christmas alongside those who he has daily contact with in the first-team squad.

Kick-off is at 1pm. We will also have exclusive images on our official Facebook page and goal updates on our official twitter feed @whufc_official.
