West Ham United youngster Rob Hall started in Birmingham City's 2-1 npower Championship victory over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Hall was making his eleventh appearance for the Blues after linking up with the St Andrews club on loan in November and Lee Clark's men took the spoils to move up to 16th in the table.

Chris Burke's double was enough to see off Forest, who cut the deficit late on through Billy Sharp but could not find an equaliser.

Paul McCallum (below) helped his loan side AFC Wimbledon record a 1-1 draw with Burton Albion in League Two on Saturday.

Paul McCallum WimbledonThe 19-year-old striker has been on loan with the Dons since November and came off the bench for the final 16 minutes as the south Londoners secured their third successive draw.

New arrival from Crawley Town and West Ham academy product Gary Alexander gave the Dons a 27th minute lead, but Michael Symes levelled before the break to ensure that the spoils would be shared.

Stephen Henderson rejoined Ipswich Town on loan from the Hammers on transfer deadline day but the Irishman had a watching brief from the bench as the Tractor Boys enjoyed a thumping 4-0 win over high-flying Middlesbrough in the Championship. The victory maintained Ipswich's four-point gap over the relegation zone.

Blair Turgott's Bradford City drew 2-2 with Fleetwood Town in League Two, although the 18-year-old Hammer was not involved as he prepares for an England Under-19 fixture with Denmark in Doncaster on Tuesday.

Alou Diarra, meanwhile, made his debut for Rennes in the French Ligue 1 after joining on loan from West Ham last week. The midfielder came off the bench with 30 minutes to go in the Breton derby with Lorient, as Rennes scored a late goal to snatch a 2-2 draw.
