George Moncur is looking for a repeat of last week's Development Squad victory over Arsenal when Nick Haycock's side make a return trip to north London to take on Tottenham Hotspur on Monday afternoon.
The Hammers got their Barclays U21 Premier League Elite Group Stage campaign off to the perfect start with a 2-0 win at the Gunners and former Spurs schoolboy Moncur believes a similar performance would yield the same result against his old side.
The 19-year-old midfielder said: "We'll be looking for more of the same when we head to Tottenham on Monday. As long as we keep the same standards and the same attitude, we'll be fine.
"It was a great effort from the lads at Arsenal last week. We all dug in well and in the first half I thought we popped the ball around really nicely.
"We had to get behind the ball a bit more after half time, but we did a good job in the end. They couldn't break us down, they didn't get in once, so we were really happy with that."
West Ham's under-21 side topped their group in the first phase of the season and Moncur is confident that if they continue to find that level of performance over rest of the campaign, the Hammers will be challenging for Elite Group honours.
He added: "If we play like we have been and how we know we can, we can win this league, so that's what we want to do.
"We know what we're going to get from each other whenever we play, it's great at the moment."
