Final score - Queens Park Rangers 1-2 West Ham United

97 mins - West Ham have won! What a game that was. West Ham are up to seventh in the table with their first away win of the season. That's three wins and only one defeat from the opening six matches ahead of Saturday's visit of Arsenal to the Boleyn. Eight yellow cards, but more importantly two goals and a winner for birthday boy Ricardo Vaz Te, who turned 26 today!

96 mins - Carroll stings Cesar's palms with his left foot before belting the follow-up into the stand with his right foot.

95 mins - Collins slides in with a challenge on Hoilett and Carroll spins away and is fouled on halfway. The ball is hit long towards the No8 and he heads down for Jarvis before being belatedly flagged offside. The long ball forward is flicked on but Collins can leave it for Jaaskelainen to slide out to collect.

93 mins - West Ham win a free-kick on halfway and Tomkins becomes the EIGHTH West Ham player booked for time-wasting! Carroll eventually wins the ball when it is knocked long into the box. He turns and picks out Diame, who takes a touch before shooting high and into the stand.

92 mins - Fauerlin has another go from distance and Jaaskelainen makes another diving save low to his left. The goalkeeper has earned his crust tonight, whatever happens.

91 mins - QPR's ten men haven't given up. Zamora is whistled for handball, but we're going to have SIX minutes of added time. Where has all that come from?! It starts with Carroll being flagged offside as he heads on for Nolan.

89 mins - West Ham break through Noble and Vaz Te but the latter's cross takes a deflection and goes through to Cesar. Big Sam isn't happy with that. QPR break and Jaaskelainen is called into action again as he pushes aside Cisse's low shot. Into the final minute...

88 mins - A cross comes over and Carroll heads clear.

87 mins - The home fans don't like it as Vaz Te is down. It's actually seven yellow cards that West Ham have collected. Sorry, I'd lost count. Hill and Vaz Te are called together for a chat by Mr Clattenburg.

85 mins - I am a little surprised Nolan is not the second player sent-off as he is penalised for tripping Hoilett. He points at the ball, but the referee awards the foul. No second yellow though. Taarabt from 35 yards and it's too high. Thank goodness on both counts.

84 mins - Another chance! Nolan gets goalside of Mbia on to Noble's pass but his low cross is in front of Carroll and rolls away for a goal kick. Hoilett is on for Onuoha. FInal throw of the dice from Mark Hughes.

83 mins - Carroll retrieves a deep cross and tees-up Nolan, who sees two shots blocked in quick succession. The cross comes over again from Jarvis but it's too strong.

81 mins - Hill's cross from the left eludes everyone and hits Zamora. Before he can get a shot away, Tomkins clears.

79 mins - What a save! A cross drops to Vaz Te, who has time to measure up his shot from 18 yards. He smashes it goalwards and Cesar makes a magnificent stop to divert the ball on to the bar and behind. The corner is cleared again.

78 mins - You have to wonder how many more goals and cards we might see... It's not even been a dirty game, in my opinion. Diame sends Jarvis away again. He drops a shoulder and lifts a left-footed cross over for Carroll, but again a defender is there to head over for a corner. It is cleared, but only for a few seconds...

76 mins - From the resulting free-kick, Vaz Te tees up Jarvis and his cross for Carroll is headed behind for another West Ham corner. Carroll attacks it but just misses out. What a game this has been!

75 mins - Diakite is sent-off! A loose ball breaks to Demel. The No2 slides in and brings down the right-back. The referee brings out a second yellow and then the red for the substitute and QPR are down to ten men.

73 mins - Jarvis works a yard for himself and wins a corner. Noble takes and I think it is Mbia who heads away for another flag-kick. Cesar comes out and pushes the ball away. QPR win a throw and then Taarabt picks out the run of Cisse. He crosses and West Ham survive a blocked Fauerlin shot to win a throw.

72 mins - Carroll is on for Cole before the kick can be taken. Granero takes and the referee blows for a push. West Ham free-kick.

71 mins - If West Ham win this game, they'll do it the hard way. Cisse breaks and tests Jaaskelainen with a powerful low shot that the goalkeeper scrambles away for a corner.

69 mins - Two more yellow cards for the Hammers. Cole is booked for another foul, so I'd say that's the old totting-up there from Mr Clattenburg. Nolan complains that Cesar wants to take the free-kick miles outside the box when the offence was inside. Mr Clattenburg disagrees and books the captain. That's six yellow cards for the Hammers.

67 mins - What a chance for Cole! Nolan takes advantage of a slip and plays in Cole. He is in on goal but slides his left-foot shot a yard or so wide. He had to hit the target there.

66 mins - So close to an equaliser as Fauerlin drops a shoulder and shoots right-footed. Jaaskelainen flies to his left and pushes the ball away. Moments later, the Finn is booked for time-wasting at a goal kick.

65 mins - QPR are trying everything here. Noble loses out and West Ham have men committed forward. Cisse makes the run but Taarabt instead aims for Zamora and Tomkins allows it to roll through to Jaaskelainen.

63 mins - McCartney is the latest player booked for a cynical tug on Diakite. No complaints from the left-back. Moments later, QPR come again and Demel goes in on Cisse. Howls for a penalty, but Mr Clattenburg is unmoved and West Ham survive.

61 mins - McCartney runs about 50 yards down the left unchallenged before crossing low for Cole. He gets in front of his marker but QPR somehow get the ball behind for a corner. Noble takes but, despite two attempts to get headers on goal, the home side clear their lines and win a throw from Diame.

59 mins - Diakite is blooked for sliding in and bringing down Vaz Te from behind as the No12 strode into the QPR half. A pressure-relieving free-kick. The home crowd are right up for this now and West Ham are creaking a bit. The free-kick is cleared.

57 mins - GOAL! Taarabt's first involvement and he scores a blinder, beating Demel wide on the left before cutting inside, faking to shoot once and then curling the ball into the far top corner. Jaaskelainen just watched it, but I don't think he could do anything about that.

56 mins - Park and Wright-Phillips are replaced by Samba Diakite and Adel Taarabt. Almost a chance straight after the changes, but Hill cannot control and Collins ushers the ball away for a goal kick.

55 mins - Another big challenge, this time by Nolan on Park. It's a fair one, though as the referee waves 'Play-on'.

54 mins - Diame has to be careful with his challenges after his first-half booking but he times that superbly on Fauerlin as the midfielder approaches the West Ham box.

52 mins - Noble slides a pass in behind Mbia for Cole to chase. The defender gets his body in the way and Cole fouls him.

50 mins - West Ham have started well since the break. Cole battles again inside the area but the ball just will not break for him or Diame and QPR survive. They've hardly been out of their half since the break, though.

48 mins - So close to a third for the 17,363-strong crowd - with 1,681 from West Ham - to see. Nolan lifts the ball right when he could shoot and it bounces up nicely for Diame to strike. He does and Cesar has to beat the ball away. Diame concedes a free-kick as he battles for the rebound.

47 mins - Noble delivers and Tomkins just misses the header. QPR clear, but not for long

46 mins - After a false start, West Ham get the second half underway. Nolan's prod finds Jarvis and the overlapping McCartney wins a corner after 19 seconds. The deep corner is retrieved by Demel, who wins a second corner off Cisse.

Half-time score - Queens Park Rangers 0-2 West Ham United

51 mins - Granero shapes to shoot but instead lofts the ball right for Cisse, who is flagged offside before heading the ball across. It ends up in the net, but that's not going to count. Jaaskelainen takes the free-kick and that is half-time.

50 mins - Noble loves a sliding challenge, but that was not the time to make one. He catches Park late and is immediately booked. Free-kick for QPR 30 yards out, slightly left of centre.

50 mins - Into the fifth minute of added time and the home fans have gone very quiet. I don't think they can quite believe what has happened. Long way to go, though.

48 mins - The concern, if any, for Big Sam is that he has used two substitutes, A third West Ham goal may mean that is irrelevant, though. Cole wins another throw inside QPR territory. Vaz Te stabs the ball into the box but it's cleared high for a throw.

46 mins - Into the first of FIVE added minutes and Zamora beats the offside trap. He is forced wide right but cuts on to his favoured left foot and curls a shot that flicks off the head of Collins and away for another corner. Granero takes, but puts too much juice on it. The ball flies over everyone and out for a goal kick.

45 mins - How many chances are we going to see in this half! QPR back off Noble and he shoots powerfully from 30 yards. The ball flicks of a QPR head and goes behind. The home side scramble the ball away.

43 mins - Headed chances at both ends! First, Cole's powerful nod from Vaz Te's cross flashes wide of the near post, then Zamora sends his effort looping over from around the penalty spot.

41 mins - Ooops! Jaaskelainen drops a routine cross from Cisse but West Ham escape and the ball is cleared. The Hammers break at pace but neither Vaz Te, Jarvis or Nolan can get a shot away.

40 mins - The corner loops off a QPR head to Jarvis, who volleys high and wide.

38 mins - West Ham win a corner when Nolan's cross is headed behind. It is cleared and Wright-Phillips runs away alongside Diame, who brings him down and is booked on halfway. The free-kick is lifted in and drops to Cisse, whose snap-shot is brilliantly saved by Jaaskelainen, who tips over. The corner is cleared and West Ham break through Vaz Te. He crosses and a QPR defender concedes a corner.

37 mins - QPR seek an immediate reply and nearly get it through Cisse, only for Collins to make a heroic block on the edge of his six-yard box.

35 mins - GOAL! VAZ TE scores on his birthday! McCartney replaces O'Brien before the free-kick. Noble lifts it in and Cole goes in but just cannot force the ball in. It squirms loose to the left and Tomkins of all people gets there first and lifts a cross to the far post that Vaz Te acrobatically volleys home. Amazing stuff!

33 mins - Cole causes havoc again twice, with Jarvis so near to getting on the end of his second flick. In between, Demel does superbly to hold off Cisse from a QPR clearance. West Ham win the ball back again through Nolan before winning a free-kick inside the QPR half. Noble sizes it up...

32 mins - Cole is playing really well tonight. He is occupying both centre-backs. This time he challenges Nelsen, who then accidentally treads on the No9. He needs the physio on for what looks to be a knock to the unmentionables. He is quickly back on his feet again, though.

30 mins - Down the left this time through O'Brien and Jarvis. The latter feeds Cole, who finds the overlapping O'Brien, but he cannot beat Onuoha one on one and the Irishman concedes a goal kick.

29 mins - Demel, Diame and Nolan combine well again. They have been very positive down the right. Vaz Te is out there again now, with Jarvis over on the left again. The away fans are singing about Cisse's blonde mohican hairstyle!

26 mins - Good football near the touchline elicits a response from the travelling fans. Nolan gets in behind the back four again and checks before crossing dangerously. Jarvis hooks the ball back in but Diame and then O'Brien cannot benefit. QPR break quickly again but Cisse belts his shot miles wide.

25 mins - Diame breaks but is crowded out inside the box. QPR come forward through Cisse, who finds Zamora on the edge of the box. He tries to curl a cross in left-footed and Jaaskelainen comes out decisively to claim and catch.

24 mins - Tomkins involved immediately, as always, winning a header in front of Zamora from a long ball forward.

23 mins - Fair play to the QPR fans, who applauded when Reid got to his feet. Really good to see on all counts. Reid shakes hands with Tomkins on his way off.

20 mins - At least three QPR players look to be offside, but there is no flag as Jaaskelainen comes out and collides with Reid, who is knocked out cold. O'Brien clears and the referee stops the game immediately. The Hammers players wave the medical staff on. Reid is bring tended to and he has moved his arm. Caution is the norm in these circumstances. The away fans sing Reid's name as a stretcher and then a back board are brought on. Again, I stress that caution is the norm in these circumstances. James Tomkins will be on to replace Reid, sho is up on his feet and walking gingerly to the touchline.

19 mins - Chance for QPR as O'Brien brings down Wright-Phillips two yards outside the box. Granero to take...

18 mins - Jarvis crosses from the right left-footed, but Cesar is there to make the catch inside his six-yard box.

17 mins - I'm no tactical genius but West Ham's extra man in midfield seems to be making the difference so far. Granero and Fauerlin are up against three men, Jarvis and Vaz Te have switched wings.

15 mins - Reid is penalised for a foul on Zamora inside the centre circle. It's taken short and worked quickly to Cisse. He shoots low from the right corner of the box but Jaaskelainen is there and makes the save and catch low down. It was on target, but a routine save.

14 mins - West Ham attack again but Jarvis is challenged by Onuoha as he crosses and he slices the ball behind for a goal kick.

13 mins - QPR work their first decent chance as Granero and Fauerlin combine well with a neat one-two. The Argentina man continues and is there when Wright-Phillips crosses low, but his first-time shot clears the crossbar.

11 mins - Great defensive work from Vaz Te and Demel, who clears up the line well. Vaz Te and Nolan combine before Diame drives forward through the middle. He shoots from 25 yards, the ball clips off a defender and loops over Julio Cesar and a yard wide! So close to a second. The corner is taken short and the cross blocked before the throw is cleared.

9 mins - Cole clearly fancies his chances in the air against Mbia and Nelsen. He challenges strongly again on halfway and is whistled for a foul. Nolan continues and his lob hits the bar! It wouldn't have counted, of course. 'Oooohs' from the visiting fans.

8 mins - QPR's first chance as Wright-Phillips's cross takes a touch off a defender and bounces away for a corner. It is swung in and Cole heads powerfully clear. Vaz Te breaks but takes the wrong option and Nolan is penalised for a foul. Shame.

6 mins - West Ham are snapping away at QPR all over the pitch. Nolan tries to pick out Cole's run and the striker gets goalside of Mbia, only for the ball to skip away for a goal kick.

5 mins - Diame comes forward again but loses out about 30 yards from goal. The West Ham fans are singing a song asking Robert Green what the scoreline is. Things change quickly in football.

3 mins - GOAL! Jarvis scores! Vaz Te gets away down the right and plays a one-two with Nolan. He beats the challenge of Hill before cutting back for Nolan. The skipper's shot is floating wide of the far post but Jarvis is there unmarked to head back past Cesar. The ball creeps inside the far post and the away fans erupt at the other end of the stadium!

2 mins - Good start. O'Brien wins the ball back on halfway and finds Cole. He cuts inside and holds off his man before finding Vaz Te. The birthday boy and Demel are involved before Diame tries to beat his man with a flick outside the D. He loses out and QPR break before Cisse is fouled about ten yards inside the Hammers half.

1 min - Collins wins a couple of strong headers early on before the Hammers win a throw on halfway from Wright-Phillips. Noble lofts the ball forward for Cole, but he cannot keep it in.

8pm - QPR will kick-off shooting towards the School End... Zamora and Cisse get the game underway.

7.56pm - The two sides have emerged, led by captains Ji-Sung Park and Kevin Nolan. Both teams are wearing white shorts - controversial! QPR have summer signing Stephane Mbia making his debut at centre-back. The No40 was snapped up from French club Rennes.

7.53pm - The Hammers fans are making themselves heard as usual. They are in the School End away to my right, singing 'Bubbles' with the regulation gusto.

7.50pm - They have been having a few technical difficulties with the wifi here, but it seems to be working again now. We'll do our best to keep the updates regular! The stadium is filling up quickly. West Ham fan Iain Dowie is here, as is BBC Formula 1 commentator David Croft and his son, both of whom are big Hammers. The concensus in the Press Room seems to be that a draw is the most likely outcome. QPR need a win, but so do the visitors. It's set up to be a very competitive 90 minutes.

7.35pm - Reading manager Brian McDermott is in the crowd tonight, as is former Hammer Anton Ferdinand, who was his usual friendly self down in the tunnel earlier this evening. Robert Green was also quick to greet his old club-mates.

7.15pm - The team news is in. Andy Carroll returns after missing four matches with a hamstring strain. The England striker is on the bench. Matt Taylor misses out after suffering a minor injury. His absence is the only change, with Matt Jarvis coming in as one of the front three. QPR have one former Hammer in the side in Bobby Zamora and two on the bench in Robert Green and Hogan Ephraim.

Queens Park Rangers: Julio Cesar, Onuoha, Hill, Nelsen, Mbia, Wright-Phillips, Granero, Fauerlin, Park, Zamora, Cisse
Subs: Green, Diakite, Taarabt, Mackie, Ephraim, Ehmer, Hoilett

West Ham United: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Reid, Collins, O'Brien, Noble, Diame, Nolan, Vaz Te, Jarvis, Cole
Subs: Henderson, McCartney, Tomkins, O'Neil, Benayoun, Maiga, Carroll

6.55pm - The Hammers are here at Loftus Road, with Andy Carroll among the players to step off the team coach. The team news should be confirmed in about five to ten minutes. Will Carroll be involved?

Good evening and welcome to west London for tonight's Barclays Premier League derby between Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United.

The Hammers are making their first trip to Loftus Road since 16 October 2004, when Matthew Rose netted the only goal in a 1-0 Championship victory for QPR.

West Ham are seeking their first away win of the season, having lost at Swansea City (0-3) and drawn at Norwich City in their previous two league games on the road. QPR, meanwhile, have not won in the league anywhere, picking up two draws in five games played so far.

The fixture sees two former Blackburn Rovers managers face one another in Sam Allardyce and Mark Hughes.

Big Sam could welcome Andy Carroll back into his matchday squad after the England striker recovered from a hamstring injury. Yossi Benayoun is available again after missing last Tuesday's Capital One Cup defeat by Wigan Athletic, while Kevin Nolan, Mohamed Diame, Winston Reid and Jussi Jaaskelainen are among those set to return to the starting XI. Jack Collison is out with a knee problem.

QPR have defensive issues, with former Hammer Anton Ferdinand, Jose Bosingwa and Fabio all nursing hamstring problems and Armand Traore out with a leg injury. On a brighter note for the home side, Morocco playmaker Adel Taarabt could return after recent hamstring strain. Striker Andy Johnson is ruled out with a serious knee injury that is likely to keep him out for the entire season.

Of the other ex-West Ham players in the QPR squad, Bobby Zamora is set to start up front, but goalkeeper Robert Green, midfielder Kieron Dyer and winger Hogan Ephraim are unlikely to feature from the kick-off.

Zamora and Ferdinand both started for West Ham on their most-recent visit to Loftus Road in October 2004.

The team news will be announced at 7pm, with the line-ups published first on the club's official twitter feed.
