Ian Hendon's Development Squad will host Arsenal in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League at Rush Green Stadium on Friday evening, kick-off 7pm.

West Ham United have made an encouraging start to the 2012/13 campaign, winning two and drawing one of their opening four fixtures. Impressive wins at home to Reading and away at Everton were followed-up by a disappointing home defeat by Bolton Wanderers.

However, the Hammers bounced back by securing a creditable 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion last Sunday afternoon and will be confident ahead of their Friday night date with the Gunners.

Hendon (pictured) has a young squad at his disposal tonight, with Jordan Spence, Dan Potts, Rob Hall, George Moncur and Matthias Fanimo the only players on show with first-team experience. Switzerland Under-20 goalkeeper Raphael Spiegel, full-back Callum Driver, midfielders Sebastian Lletget and Blair Turgott and forward Paul McCallum will also be out to impress.

With a Capital One Cup third-round tie at home to Wigan Athletic scheduled for next Tuesday evening, places in Sam Allardyce's matchday squad will be up for grabs if he chooses to rest any of his first-team regulars. Spence, Potts, Hall, Moncur and Fanimo all featured against Crewe Alexandra in the second-round victory at the Boleyn Ground last month, while Spiegel, Driver and McCallum were listed among the unused substitutes.

Arsenal sit top of the Group 1 table after recording three wins and a draw in their opening four fixtures, the most-recent of which saw them held 1-1 by Norwich City on Monday evening.

Admission to tonight's game is £3 for Adults, £1 for Under-16s and FREE to West Ham United Season Ticket holders.

*Nick Haycock's Under-18s will travel to Arsenal on Saturday morning for their fifth Barclays U18 Premier League fixture of the season on Saturday morning, with kick-off at London Colney at 11am.
