Final score - SC Braga 1-1 West Ham United

93 mins - All drama at the end as a long-range shot flies in on the West Ham goal and Jaaskelainen diverts it over the top. The corner comes in and Tomkins heads clear. The Hammers win a free-kick and the final whistle is blown. Wow! What a final five minutes we have just had. For a long period it looked like West Ham would lose, but in the end they could easily have won. Highlights and post-match reaction will appear on and West Ham TV soon. Thanks for joining us in Portugal tonight, and it's on to Aston Villa on Saturday 18 August. Tickets are selling fast, so don't miss out. Get yours today here. Meanwhile, we're going to enjoy the fireworks!

92 mins - Moncur is full of running as he bursts clear from halfway and he's in on goal. He can pass left to one of at least two team-mates, but opts to shoot and Quim makes a fine save low to his right. The ball comes back to Moncur but it's awkward and he loses control.

91 mins - It's not over yet as we got into the first of three added minutes. Braga win three corners in quick succession as Vaz Te and Moncur are forced to head behind. All three are cleared and West Ham break!

89 mins - GOAL! How about that then! Taylor's corner is to the far post with whip and dip and Tomkins rises highest and heads the ball down for Reid, who pokes it past Quim from about three or four yards! The Braga players can't believe it  but Mr Mota has given the goal and the Hammers are jubilant. They haven't given up and they've got their goal. We know how important set plays can be and that's proof again of it.

89 mins - West Ham have a late corner after a ball bounces off a midfielder and goes behind.

87 mins - Moncur has another go after Maiga has beaten his man with a lovely piece of skill. The cross is high this time, but Quim can let it go out for a goal kick.

85 mins - Moncur's first touch is a cross from Vaz Te's pass, but it's cut out. Braga break and after a lucky ricochet, Baiano has the ball in the West Ham net, but he's offside. The roar of the fans quickly subsides. He was a long way beyond the final defender.

84 mins - Demel gets forward and wins a free-kick wide on the right 30 yards from the byline. Before it can be taken, Moncur is on for Diame. Can he make himself a hero? Taylor's free-kick is low and cleared. Braga break and O'Brien commits what you might call a 'good foul' on halfway.

82 mins - Another change. Mossoro is going off, with No83 Carlao coming on. Braga must have a big squad...

80 mins - Half-chance. Potts finds Diame and he shows quick feet before lifting the diagonal cross into the box. Quim doesn't come and Reid rises against a defender, but he is stretching and his header loops high and wide.

79 mins - Another substitution as Potts comes on for Demel. O'Brien to right-back and Potts to left-back.

76 mins - Salino is replaced by Baiano, while O'Neil comes on for Collins. Tomkins goes into the back four.

74 mins - The home fans are singing away as we approach the final 15 minutes. West Ham need to find the same verve in their play as they did in the opening 15 if they are to draw level. They have not played badly at all. We could do with a couple of clear-cut chances and a goal, though.

72 mins - Noble sends the cross over from the right but Quim is there again to make the catch.

71 mins - A good chance for the new man Micael, but he fires well over the top from the edge of the box when completely unmarked. Before the goal kick can be taken, Cole is replaced by Taylor. Braga replace Douglao with Nuno Coelho. Maiga has gone into the central striking role, Vaz Te to the right and Taylor to the left.

69 mins - Great individual play from Vaz Te, who beats two men before finding Cole. He is inside the box and opts to cross, but it's cut out. Corner. Noble takes and Quim punches clear from inside his own six-yard box.

67 mins - A long diagonal ball picks out Amorim. His first touch takes him past Demel before he goes down a yard outside the box. Before the free-kick, Micael comes on for Alan. The free-kick is fired into the rock face.

65 mins - A lull in goalmouth action. Braga force a corner off Demel. It's a deep one and Mossoro controls but Diame nicks the ball off him and is fouled. From the resulting free-kick, Cole flicks on for Vaz Te. His shot is blocked into the path of Noble, who gets into the box and pulls the ball back, but Douglao can clear.

59 mins - West Ham are improving here. Noble does well but his cross is headed clear. Then we have another flashpoint as Tomkins and Salino get involved. Both are booked again for their involvement. West Ham have a free-kick after all that... It comes to nothing.

56 mins - Cross from the left and Maiga rises like a salmon. His header bounces and Quim manages to thrust out his right hand to push the ball away. Great leap by Maiga and he's so unlucky not to open his account for the Hammers.

55 mins - Ismaily has to go off following some treatment. He is soon ready to return, but Mr Mota ignores him for a long while. Whistles from the home fans. It must be deafening in here when it is full and rocking. Moments later, No18 Lima smashes a shot over the top from 22 yards.

50 mins - Noble's corner is flicked on by Vaz Te, but more out than into the box. Diame is then crowded out on the edge of the box and Braga break. Reid stands firm to concede the throw and West Ham eventually win the ball back.

48 mins - Braga have brought on a few substitutes. Amorim is on in midfield. Amorim is on on the left wing with Barbosa making way. Ismaily is also on at left-back for Elderson. Meanwhile, West Ham's Portuguese Vaz Te wins a corner down the left.

46 mins - We're underway again. No attacks from either team in the opening moments of the second half.

Braga have their away kit!

West Ham are back out on the pitch for the second half. They must have got to the lifts first, because there is no sign of Braga just yet. No changes from Big Sam.

Half-time score - SC Braga 1-0 West Ham United

46 mins - That's half-time. West Ham started well, but Braga have come back into it. The goal was a controversial one, but it stands and the Hammers trail at the break.

45 mins - Into the final minute of the half and Tomkins makes a fine challenge in midfield. Diame tries to play a one-two but is blocked off. You can hear his shout of frustration from here. Mr Mota awards the free-kick, which Noble will take. We're into one minute of added time as the free-kick comes in and the whistle goes for a Braga free-kick.

43 mins - Noble's free-kick doesn't clear the first defender. The Hammers keep the attack alive, but Demel runs the ball out for a goal kick.

42 mins - A giant Portuguese flag has been unfurled by the 'Red Boys' supporters group on the far side. They are a passionate lot, clearly. Cole is fouled 30 yards out on the West Ham left.

41 mins - Good football from Braga again as Lima breaks forward and plays a one-two with Lima before shooting low and wide. He maybe should have done better there, but was under pressure from Diame.

39 mins - Vaz Te races away down the left but he has only Cole to aim for. Centre-back Douglao hoofs the ball miles up into the air and Cole challenges Quim. As so often happens, the referee sides with the goalkeeper and blows for a foul.

38 mins - I should have mentioned. Custodio was replaced by Djamal after the Braga goal.

36 mins - The game is getting a bit tasty. Barbosa fells Diame with a crude challenge. Demel takes exception and gives the No10 a friendly tap on the shoulder. A bit of handbags ensues before the officials step in and Mr Mota books Barbosa and Demel.

34 mins - GOAL! Lima sends Jaaskelainen the wrong way and the home fans roar with approval. The striker then picks up a camera from a cameraman and takes a photo of his team-mates! He is booked for his troubles, much to the annoyance of the Braga fans. More importantly, West Ham are behind.

32 mins - Braga have a penalty! I presume it must be for handball. West Ham's players have surrounded Mr Mota to ask why the spot-kick has been awarded. Custodio's shot was parried by Jaaskelainen. Collins raced out to block the follow-up cross and has been penalised. Lima will take the penalty...

31 mins - Good flowing football from Braga down their right before the ball is passed inside for Viana. He shoots left-footed, but drags it well wide.

30 mins - O'Brien lifts a free-kick into the penalty area from halfway. Cole challenges and the bal drops inside the box, but he's whistled for a foul by referee Manuel Mota. To be fair, Quim had caught the ball, so it didn't cost West Ham.

26 mins - It's a more even contest now. Braga have found a way to counter West Ham's pressing and are moving the ball more comfortably. The Hammers are keeping it at it, though, and not giving their hosts any peace. The defensive discipline from West Ham has been good, too, with both wingers getting back to help out.

23 mins - Braga are finding their feet. This time Lima looks to cut on to his left foot and tries to get the shot away from inside the D, but Tomkins has tracked his run and makes a fantastic sliding challenge to take the ball.

20 mins - Good concentration from Jaaskelainen. Noble wins the tackle but the ball goes straight to Viana. He finds the overlapping Alan, who gets past O'Brien using his pace and shoots low across goal. The Finn makes a solid catch low to his right.

19 mins - Close again. Vaz steps over and Noble curls the shot around the wall. It takes a slight deflection as it flies wide of the right-hand post. The corner is short and cleared. When Diame finds Noble again, he is offside.

18 mins - This is the best West Ham have played in pre-season, I would venture. They are pressing high and not letting Braga settle at all. Considering the quality of the opposition, it's good. Again they come forward and Tomkins releases O'Brien. He ignores Cole and cuts inside before being fouled a yard outside the box. It was nearly Watford away all over again!

17 mins - Vaz does shoot, but it's too high and thuds into the bottom of the TV camera tower behind the goal.

16 mins - Cole wins a free-kick 35 yards out in a central position. Vaz Te wants to shoot...

15 mins - Really good from West Ham. Vaz Te loses right-back Mossoro and gets the low cross in. Noble and Cole get in each other's way but the ball is only cleared as far as Tomkins, whose low shot from 25 yards is straight at Quim. Encouraging signs so far. We just need a goal to go with the good build-up play.

14 mins - Decent chance for a shot that. Maiga gets clear and receives the pass in the inside-right channel. He can run towards the goal and get a shot away, but checks and lays the ball back into the midfield. Demel overlaps, but his cross is overhit. O'Brien again retrieves, but Quim catches his deep cross.

12 mins - Superb play from Diame, who breaks forward and does a step-over to beat one defender and reach the byline. His cross is dangerous, but left-back Elderson has covered around and wins the header. Great stuff from the Senegal man. That sort of powerful run and deft touch are just what the doctor ordered.

10 mins - To be honest, Quim might not have looked worried. He's about 70 yards away down on the pitch, so I can't see his facial expressions.

9 mins - Braga fire in their first shot and it's Custodio, cutting in from the left centre of the pitch and firing a shot a yard or two over the top. West Ham immediately break themselves and the ball drops to Vaz Te on the left corner of the box. He shoots first time and the ball dips over the bar. Quim looked a bit worried for a while there.

8 mins - No real goalmouth action so far but there is a decent atmosphere inside the ground. Two sets of fans in opposite corners are drumming and singing away. Meanwhile, West Ham attack well again. Maiga gets onto a pass from Vaz Te and crosses, but it's too high for Cole at the far post. O'Brien picks up the loose ball and wins a throw, but it comes to nothing.

5 mins - West Ham are playing 4-3-3, with Tomkins holding in midfield and Vaz Te and Maiga swapping wings alongside Cole. Braga have their first attack and Collins has to chase back and slot the ball to Jaaskelainen under pressure from Lima. Good defending.

3 mins - West Ham have settled quickly on an absolutely immaculate playing surface. Demel races forward again, but Noble's pass is cut out by left-back Elderson.

1 min - Good possession from West Ham in the opening minute as everybody gets a touch. Collins sends a diagonal out to Maiga wide on the left. He wins the header before finding Cole. He lays off for Noble and the ball goes to Diame and then the overlapping Demel. He crosses, but Quim makes the catch above his head. Good start!

8.34pm - Cole and Noble will kick-off, with West Ham shooting towards the rock face! In fact, we have a false start for some reason! At the second time of asking, we're underway.

8.33pm - We're going to kick-off slightly late. A good number of West Ham fans have made the trip - a fair few were on our flight to Portugal on Wednesday - as you can see!

8.30pm - The PA announcer is trying to gee up the crowd and he's doing a fairly good job! Here come the two teams. They'll have boarded the lifts up from the dressing room! You have seriously never seen a stadium like this!

8.25pm - The PA system is belting out a 'Braga' anthem. It is a catchy enough tune but it's got nothing on 'Bubbles'. We're going to have a firework display after the game, too! It's all going on. Anyway, the sun is setting away to my left but it's still nice and warm here in Portugal. As I type, another 'Braga' Europop tribute begins. Nice.

8.15pm - The team news has been confirmed.

SC Braga: Quim, Mossoro, Barbosa, Lima, Elderson, Salino, Vinicius, Custodio, Alan, Douglao, Viana

7.45pm - The Hammers have arrived at the Estadio Municipal here in Braga. It is a truly stunning setting, with a rock face behind one goal and a grassy hill at the other with trees on it. The players have been out on the pitch taking it all in - and taking photographs in some cases! James Tomkins found time to have a look at a television camera and how it works! If you want to see more photographs, visit the club's official Facebook page here. Good evening and welcome to Portugal for West Ham United's final pre-season fixture against SC Braga.

If you would rather watch the match LIVE, then you can do so on West Ham TV. There, talkSPORT's Ian 'Moose' Abrahams will be providing exclusive commentary for what promises to be a fantastic occasion.

We are here in the stunning confines of the Estadio Municipal - the stadium built for EURO 2004 and known as A Pedreira (The Quarry) as it is carved into the face of the Monte Castro quarry next door.

While the stadium may be something special, the Hammers have a job on their hands tonight with just 90 minutes of playing time between now and the start of the Barclays Premier League campaign at home to Aston Villa in eight days time.

Sam Allardyce is expected to name a near full-strength team tonight, with Mohamed Diame and James Tomkins back from Olympic duty. However, new signing Alou Diarra is not available for the game. The side Big Sam picks is likely to give an indication as to who might line up against Villa a week on Saturday.

Braga, for their part, are a force to be reckoned with after finishing third in the Portuguese Primeira Liga last season and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. Jose Peseiro's squad contains a host of talented Portuguese and Brazilian players and their style of football is widely respected.

Among Braga's better-known players are ex-Newcastle United midfielder Hugo Viana and fellow Portugal international Custodio, who both featured at EURO 2012. Goalkeeper Quim is also a former Portugal international who travelled to three major tournaments with his country.

Braga have gatecrashed Portugal's established 'big three' of FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon in recent years, finishing as Primeira Division runners-up in 2010 and reaching the 2011 UEFA Europa League final - where they lost to Porto.

SC Braga: Quim, Mossoro (Carlao 82), Barbosa (Amorim 46), Lima, Elderson (Ismaily 46), Salino (Baiano 76), Vinicius, Custodio (Djamal 34), Alan (Micael 67), Douglao (Nuno Coelho 71), Viana
