Fans have been flocking to the West Ham United club stores to snap up the new Macron away kit as it went on general sale.
The Macron navy shirt - with claret and blue V-neck - was certainly proving to be a big hit with customers in the Stadium Store as shirts of all sizes, including several children's kits were bought.
Club stores opened earlier than usual to allow fans to come in and buy the new kit as well as stock up on other West Ham goodies ahead of the new Barclays Premier League season.
Supporters came from all over to buy a new kit, with everyone in a positive mood with just under eight weeks to go until the 2012/13 Premier League campaign gets under way.
Roger Berster, who currently lives in South Africa, made sure he dropped by the Boleyn Ground to make sure he got the new shirt for his son.
"I think it is a nice shirt and it will be nice to wear for leisure, as a casual look. So I think it will be really popular with fans. My son is going to be very pleased with this when I get this to him," he said.
And Dave Clements, from Barking was equally impressed with the kit that the players will wear on their travels this season. He said: "Think it is a really nice shirt - for fans, it is more like a leisure shirt than just a shirt that the players would wear, so that is nice as you can wear that more wherever you are.
"I like the fact that the shirt matches the shorts with a little line that is also on the socks, just a nice touch. The navy is good and it is nice to see the claret and blue in with that as well."
The Stadium Store staff were on hand to help out customers looking for the new away shirt
Season Ticket Holders had their chance to purchase the new away kit on Wednesday evening at a special shopping night at the Stadium Store, before it went on general sale on Thursday morning.
The design of the shirt followed fans' feedback at the club's Supporter Advisory Board to ensure it was "Moore than just a football kit".
Tammy, from Romford, added: "I have just bought the new away kits for my children, the kits are really nice, I like the colour and everything. I know they can't wait to wear them when cheering on the team at matches this season."
