Now that West Ham United have sealed their return to the Barclays Premier League, preparations have begun for the final big event of the season at the Boleyn Ground.
On Saturday 14 July two of Britain's best heavyweight boxers will take to the ring at the home of the Hammers. David Haye will tackle Dereck Chisora in a fight that is being billed as 'Licensed to Thrill'.
The pair will be looking to settle their differences in the ring and the fight is expected to be the climax of a spectacular night of boxing in the East End.
Also on the bill for Boxing at the Boleyn is WBA world heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin, who is defending his title against former world champion Hasim Rahman, with more exciting bouts expected to be announced soon.
The Boleyn Ground previously hosted big-time boxing in May 2010, when local hero Kevin Mitchell was beaten by Michael Katsidis for the interim WBO lightweight title.
Promoted Frank Warren, who manages Zimbabwe-born Chisora, said he expects the fight between the two London-based boxers to be the biggest fight of the year.
"This fight is on and it will be the biggest fight involving two British boxers this century. If Dereck wins this fight I would like him to fight the winner of the Povetkin/Rahman fight for the world title."
