Jack Collison and Mark Noble could make their first appearances of the pre-season when a West Ham United XI head for Bishop's Stortford on Saturday.
The homegrown duo travelled with the first-team squad to Switzerland, where they trained fully under the watchful eye of manager Sam Allardyce and his coaching staff.
However, Collison was held out of the Uhren Cup meetings with BSC Young Boys and FC Basel following his late return due to international commitments at the end of last season.
Noble, meanwhile, was put on an individual training programme as he continues his return to full fitness following the hernia problem he suffered in April.
Both will hope to get useful minutes under their belts when the Hammers take on the Blue Square North side, with kick-off at 3pm.
Following a long, hard week of pre-season training and two testing fixtures, manager Sam Allardyce will run the rule over a team that will blend youth with experience at Woodside Park.
Bishop's Stortford finished 18th in the Blue Square South table last season and have recently appointed former Tottenham Hotspur and England goalkeeper Ian Walker as manager.
The club has since been moved into Blue Square North following the expulsion from the league of Rushden & Diamonds, and will kick-off their new league season at home to Colwyn Bay on Saturday 13 August.
Among Walker's squad is former Manchester United midfielder Ritchie Jones, ex-Arsenal youngster Joe O'Cearuill and former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ben Bowditch.
Tickets for Saturday's game are priced at £10 Adults and £6 Concessions, with a £2 Stand transfer for those who would rather sit to watch the action.
